Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that provides a sense of deep relaxation, reduces stress and promotes healing.
The word Rei means guided or higher knowledge and Ki is life force energy. Reiki is a holistic approach to healing and can be combined with other alternative holistic treatments, as well as medical treatment if necessary.
During a Reiki session the client can receive a treatment fully clothed in a seated position or lying down. Reiki is administered to the client from the practitioner’s hands either above the body or with a light touch. Reiki begins to flow to where healing is needed in the body. Clients typically feel warmth and an overall sense of deep relaxation.
Reiki provides many benefits. Some of these benefits include:

- Releases blocked emotions and suppressed feelings
